How to Replace a Saab 93 Key Fob

Every car should have a key fob equipped with an electronic remote that can lock and unlock your vehicle. Batteries in these devices can be faulty.

If you are thinking of buying a Saab 93 and don't have two keys, you can get one for around $400. This is done by purchasing a new TWICE module from the dealer and then installing it using a special hand-held computer called a Tech2.

A lot of used Saabs come with one key. It is a good idea, whenever you can, to buy a spare one. This is less expensive than replacing the entire vehicle should you lose it. It is essential to rotate the keys to keep them from wearing and wear and tear.
